6 Things You May Not Know About Me

Apparently it's time for you guys to know a little more about me. Yayyyy! I was tagged by Claire and like Claire, I also have a nerdy need to fill in forms and Q&As (Thanks for the tag!). Without further ado, here are six things you may not know about me:
If you could see any artist/band live which would you choose?

This is really, really hard. I have so many. I'm going to have to say Nightwish, though I would have loved to see them with Anette Olzon. I almost made it to their Toronto show last fall, but sadly didn't catch it and within a couple weeks Anette was gone (cue heartbreak).

Though I have seen them live before as an opening band, I'd love to catch Jukebox the Ghost as the headliner (same with Tegan and Sara). Their music is like a happy pill for me. Something about it just triggers a good mood.

Can I post about three? Iron Maiden is still on my hit list. I've managed to cross off Judas Priest, Motorhead, and RJDio (with Heaven and Hell), but Maiden, Alice Cooper, and Van Halen are still eluding me.

Which blog are you in love with that you only found out about recently?

My fellow Hungarian (though she doesn't know that) Judith's blog! Judith runs Pinterjuci, and I am in love with her personal style. She comes across the cutest outfits, and she has a pretty killer taste in music. Besides that, she's just adorable, and I'm envious of her hair, haha!

What hobbies do you have that we don't know about?
I'm not sure if you know this, but I sing. I actually don't like my voice all that much! But I do love singing. Especially singing of the jumping around in front of a mirror with a hairbrush variety.

I also draw, and I used to be really into volleyball, baseball, and track and field.

If money wasn't a problem.. what would be your dream destination?
Scotland, Ireland, Germany and Hungary (specifically Budapest as that's where my family is from). Norway is also on my list. Maybe Italy too. Oh, am I allowed to pick more than one? Too bad. I would also love to get to Disney World at some point. I almost got to go on one memorable family vacation, but my food poisoning episode delayed us in Tennessee , which left only one day to go to the park, and of course it rained cats and dogs on that day. We went to the World's Largest McDonalds instead.

If you could meet any blogger in person, who would you pick?
This is a hard one because there are so many. I know I would just end up being horribly shy and awkward if I were to ever come face-to-face with any of these ladies, but Kaylah from The Dainty Squid, Elycia from Love Elycia, and Rachele from The Nearsighted Owl are all people I would love to meet. Especially Rachele because she's helped me with my self-esteem and body image just being the way she is. Which is to say, a rad, beautiful feminist with a killer sense of style who stands for body positivity (and so much more than just that of course). I love her How To Be a Fat Bitch ecourse. I would also love to meet Cait from Kitsch Vixen and Cazz from Nerd Burger, who both seem like really kickass individuals.

What's something we may not know about you?
Hmm... well since I haven't been running this blog very long, there's a lot you may not know about me! I think I'll go with the fact that I was a drama-nerd. I fast-tracked 3 years of drama into my final two years of highschool and I loved every minute of it. I was too shy and self conscious to sign up for drama in my first two years, and I might never have done it if the school I switched to in 11th grade hadn't cancelled my french course. I needed to fill in that slot and drama was the only course left that appealed to me. My final year I ended up in our school musical, and my 12th grade drama course had us write children's plays and go around to elementary school in the area to perform them. I ended up being Minnie Mouse in that one, and it was ridiculously stressful for me because of the number of kids watching (ridiculous I know!), but loads of fun.

And that's all! Thanks again Claire for tagging me. Now I tag:

Cait - +Kitsch Vixen
Cazz - +Cazz Jennings
Judith - Pinterjuci
Crissy - +Crissy Candypow
Sabrina - One City Owl

Stay Scary,
Berlyn
