Wow have I been sucking at balancing life lately, or have I been sucking at balancing life lately? The good news is I am finally employed, the bad news is I've been neglecting the blog. I've got a bunch of photos to share next week, but for now, these are a few of my favourite things (
girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes, snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes...I'll stop):
As a frog lover (and former pet frog owner) I find this ring both hilarious and adorable. I love the froggy-smile it has going on, it almost looks smug. I really dig this piece!
Can you believe these little dudes are made of polymer clay?! Me either! They are just so darn cute. I'd love a shelf full of them in every colour... You really need to check out this shop if you haven't already clicked the link above. Everything is just amazing, and
all the food looks good enough to eat. When Kimberly says she's the "Mad Scientist of polymer clay" she really isn't exaggerating!
This bird feeder is so elegant, it's just darling. I would love to have a few of these if we have a balcony at our next apartment. They remind me very much of Alice in Wonderland, and I love the whimsical feel of them. The feeder comes with a hook for hanging and a small bag of seeds too!
A little about this shop in the words of the owner, "
[our shop] is named after our little dog that passed away before she was a year old. My daughter who has Down's syndrome was devastated. She helps make all the things in our shop."
Is this not the best idea ever? I love me my fruit, but I hate bruised fruit. What better (or cuter!) way to solve this problem than with these fruit cozies? Head on over to Handmade Health, there's plenty of styles and combo packs that are all pretty fantastic, as well as other awesome handmade goods.
I'll leave you with this. One of my favourite quotes presented so ...
perfectly. Evan Robertson, you do some fantastic work. I am also a big fan of
this one and
this one. And, you know, everything else.
