Spring is here! Okay, so it doesn't feel much like it, at least not in Toronto, but I'm confident it's going to start warming up soon. I personally can't wait for blue skies, flowers, and warm rainy days. Better weather means motivation to go exploring... and take outfit photos. I'm a big baby, I just can't do it in the cold.

 In keeping with the season, and with Easter right around the corner, I just wanted to feature some of the spring themed pieces up for grabs in my shop. I have limited stock, so if you'd like anything shown here now is the time to snap it up!

Etsy Treasury Features

This isn't the post I planned on jumping back into blogging with, but I couldn't wait to finish the DIY post I had planned...so hey Lovelies, hope you've all been well, and I'm so glad to be back!

I'm sort of bubbling over because my items have popped up in two treasury lists in the past month. And quite frankly, I think that's pretty rad (also, watch out for a store update sometime soon. As Per Usual, Life Gets in the Way...

Between working around the house (have I mentioned I'm helping out with building a log home? Now you know!) and trying to get both my online stores set up, opened, and stocked, as well as my facebook page up and running, I've been neglecting Myopic Squid. Whoops!

I've had no real time to take photos, or really get away from the house... or work on any personal projects. And I live in my work clothes so I've got nothing pretty to share. I finally got to see The Boyfriend again after three weeks of madness, including a pretty killer cold (you know your immune system hates you when a cold kicks your butt in the middle of a heatwave) and we went for a walk in the rain and took some photos. But we decided to head back indoors not too long after setting out because of the weather.

So it's only taken me a week to get this posted! Haha, I really have been busy. I'll try to stay on track from now on ;)

I can't wait to brag about JulieXu! I've ordered from her shop on two occasions now and couldn't be happier with both the products and the delivery time. Both the necklace and stag stud earrings (which I turned into sweater clips) are from her shop.

Saturday was the party held for my grandfather's 92nd birthday. As with our other family gatherings, it was hot, loud, and crowded... and I wouldn't have it any other way. We're sort of a crazy bunch ;) I had another outfit planned for the occasion, but the beautiful summer weather we've been graced with suddenly vanished Friday evening, so I went with this instead. I really dig this skirt, and tend to wear it pretty often. I was pretty happy with the whole day, especially since I got to share it with The Boyfriend the day before our anniversary. The cake being delicious didn't hurt either!

I figured since I go through styles as often as I go through hair colors I may as well keep track of my favourite outfits on this new online niche of mine. Happy Tuesday!
